Compassion
There is much written about compassion, and yet, thinkers, philosophers, theologians, researchers and scientists continue to wonder about this spectacular noun/verb.
After searching the web for a definition for which I only found it referenced as a noun, I came across Krista Tippet’s definition of compassion as being spiritual technology. Spiritual technology seems to me, to be both noun and verb. Similar to Love as a Verb.
It is not just an emotion, but is defined by the action that accompanies it. Spiritual technology. Can compassion, as spiritual technology, change the world? Can we tweet, Facebook, and message each other compassion?
Can we take this noun and turn it into a verb and use it, like technology, to change the way we communicate and interact with one another?
